2011 Toyota Avalon: Overview
Vehicle Highlights
The 2011 Toyota Avalon is redesigned, with freshened styling and a new interior. Its exterior dimensions are virtually identical to the 2010 model. This large Toyota sedan is front-wheel drive and comes in Base and Limited trim levels. The 2011 Toyota Avalon reprises its powertrain from the 2010 version. Its sole engine is a 268-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 that teams with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain-side airbags, front-side airbags, and a driver-knee airbag. Leather upholstery, rearview camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless cell-phone link, power front seats, and a sunroof are standard on all models. Heated front seats are optional on the Base and standard on the Limited. Xenon headlights, rain-sensing wipers, ventilated front seats, and keyless entry/engine start are standard on the Limited. An adjustable rear-bench seat is available, as is a navigation system.
